Strategy

We focus on contemporary art and seek active collaboration and / or exchange with artists. WACollection follows a clear collecting and buying strategy that is disclosed to our fellow collectors. Thanks to our collection committee, collectors collective and our long term view (we collect to hold and engage with the works and not to flip art for a profit) we have access to key works and are on the pulse of time. We seek furthermore to publish essays to contextualise works within our collection. Our collection is made available to museums and similarly recognised institutions for lending. We don’t believe in tucking art away in a storage room, therefore our fellow collectors get a piece of the action at home on a yearly basis.
